Perhaps I should stop drinking tea at night and other fun tales of what I’ve been up to

Hi.

Instead of hanging my head in shame at the sheer ridiculous amount of time I’ve ignored this small piece of happiness that is my little blog, I’ll recount even shorter pieces of happiness from my not-brief blog writing absence. These are in no particular order and I’m probably forgetting at least three things.

  1. My mug collection boasts three mugs that can hold almost an entire pot-for-twos worth of tea. Perhaps I should stop drinking tea at night (titular moment), my eyes were open the size of UFO saucers at approximately who-knows-what-o’clock-it-is-but-I-can-hear-the-cat-snoring.
  2. My mother moved into a bigger apartment, but thankfully it was just two doors down the hallway so we just physically moved the stuff over without having to go outside. Best move ever. Remember, if you need to move, call a Peterson!
  3. Currently, school is manageable (I think my blog just rolled its eyes)!
  4. A few days ago, I saw some friends who live across the country. I’ll see some other friends this coming week. My high school bestie comes in July. Having the chance to catch up with my University of Hawaii family on Zoom for about three hours last night. OH, and I can’t forget the amazingly wonderful friendship support system that exists around me (my friend Jorge just massively laughed at me, but it’s true).
  5. I met a human who makes me happy who also enjoys Star Trek… even if their captain is James T. Kirk and mine is Jean-Luc Picard. In case you are wondering, they are wrong (just kidding, my love… mostly).
  6. My mother likes to tell a story about how my arm used to be attached to a spring when I was little because I volunteered for all the things. This is the current state of my professional life. Maybe someday I will stop doing that. Maybe not.
  7. Seven seems like a nice number to stop this on even though there is no particular order… BREAD IS TASTY.

In conclusion… oh wait, it’s not a scholarly paper and I don’t need a conclusion.
